Accomodation in Accy

Hi i'm from down south (booo hisss lol) and i'm looking to move up to Accrington within the next few months. I was just wondering if somebody could help me? For example what is the rent like on one bedroom flats or bedsits up there? Also are there a lot of job opportunitys in anything a joey would do, like retail, bar work etc etc...

Cheers for any help.

Re: Accomodation in Accy

It looks like all the other lazy sod's are in bed so I will be the first to ask. What brings you to Accrington if you have nowhere to live and no job ?

My guess is a decent bedsit/one bedroomed flat will be in the region of £75 - £90 a week. Yes there are jobs but most people moving in these days don't bother with trivialities like that

You can get a whole house for £75 a week. I don't know much about flats or bed sits because I don't know anyone who rents one but I do know people in rented houses.

Job wise I always reckon that there is work for those who want it. They may not be career jobs that you aspired to in school but if you want to work you can
