anyone had a credit report done?
i was trying to get one done last night and it came back that they couldnt verify my identity.
it wasnt for any reason i just wanted to know what was on and how far back etc it goes - just a general thing then when it came back with the above answer i got thinking if they cant find out who i am from the details and credit card details i've given them then how would any bank, catalogue company etc know who i am!! anyone had one of them done? was it of any use?

I have had one done through equifax I think its now 12 quid online but you get it much quicker - I only done it to see what was on it as everytime you ask your bank for a loan or whatever it goes on it - so you can ask for it to be taken of and I think it goes back 5 years but I could be wrong..

There's also Experian, you can check out on that. I don't know what it costs but, again, all your transactions will be there.
