Anyone Know?
Was driving with a friend on Saturday afternoon, coming from Rossendale Rd at Rosgrove, Burnley....
There had been a bad accident on Accrington Rd the (A679) coming towards Rosegrove, Spoke to the copper and he said the road would be closed for about 2-3 hours, we think someone perhaps died at the scene, later drove through again Saturday evening i was taking her home, Looks like someone had skidded for about 2-300 yards then drove into the wall, could still see debri from the accident.... Looked quite bad! Just wondering if anyone knows anything more about it!

Read about this in last nights Telegraph (Burnley edition) turns out it was a Vauxhall Combo van turning into the Enviro skips yard when a 600cc motorbike hit the side of it, the impact was that bad that it turned the van onto its side, bike rider has a broken neck and was from the Rossendale area, cant remember if it said rawtenstall or ramsbottom
