Aston or Bentley?

Now there is a new James Bond book out in it he drives a bentley. Now Ian Fleming when he wrote the original books had him driving a bentley as his personal car but everyone associates James Bond with Aston Martin - which as everyone knows in the filming of the latest one the driver drove it into a lake on its way to the film set. So which car should it be Bentley or Aston Martin or maybe a different make all together - BMW, Volkswagen, Mercedes, Ford, Alfa Romeo.

Re: Aston or Bentley?

I'm with Less on this one, its well and good fighing the bad guys of the world but am sure there is a greener way for Mr Bond to do it. Wouldnt go so far as to say a push bike but maybe something slightly more environmentally friendly, like a smart car for example....

Re: Aston or Bentley?

I think James looks best in an Aston Martin, he's tried other but the AM is the one for me

Re: Aston or Bentley?

I picked Bentley without reading the question, so now you all know which I would drive in lol.

I think Bond should too, just for the hell of it. AM's aren't really a car I ever even think about.

Re: Aston or Bentley?

Astons of old are classic gentlemans carriage, new ones are more bling than anything.

I'd love a DB2-5 but they cost more than I'll ever spend on a car. now a nice Jensen Interceptor... affordable and classic. its the 14 mpg I think I'd struggle to get past especially doing 25-30 K miles per year.

No they dont. Id say the most iconic bond car was a Lotus.
