Chirpy,Chirpy,Cheep,Cheep
Just how long do nestlings stay in the nest before flying off?
Some small birds (dont know species) have nested in the loft area above my kitchen. I have low ceilings and they have cheeped constantly during daylight hours for 4 days now. I love birds and birdsong but this constant cheeping is beginning to get annoying. Last edited by MargaretR; 11-05-2007 at 11:31. |

You could perhaps hasten their departure by running around the field flapping your arms, watching out for dog dirt, with a worm in your mouth.

Thanks for the response - I will get an Observer this PM - things have improved a bit - the lawns and verges have been free of poop since the 1st Observer article, but I have still seen it happening near the football changing hut, so I will continue mailing the 'powers that be'
