crown green bowling & lunch

Does anyone know of a pub where I can go for lunch and have a game of crown green bowls preferably around Burnley ,Hapton way . Some friends are visiting and we think this will be a nice afternoon.

If you end up going to one of the parks in Accrington make sure you know the number or have a key to unlock the bowling greens. If you don't just contact HBC and they will have to provide you with it

Thanks for that Neil but we may need a toilet and we would not have access to one. I did think of Mercer Park but a key is needed to gain access to toilet in Mercer House

Rose n bowl in Stacksteads, as the name suggests has a bowling green also serves lunch.

Burnley Road Bowling Green Club BB5 6DW
and then
round the corner to the Peel Park BB5 6EW

There are bowling greens at the bottom of Barden Lane in Burnley near the canal and across the road is the Kingfisher café which is right on the canal side with a balcony to sit on looking across to Pendle. Lovely on a sunny day.
