Doctors

The NHS thread has reminded me I need to find a new doctor. If I actually get the luxury of choosing anyone got any recommendations ?

Re: Doctors

I have Dr Manuel at Myrtle House( B'bn Rd -near bottom of Willows Lane) - he is Irish (depite his Spanish name) -and I believe he is an ex army doc. I have found he suits me.

Re: Doctors

Mines at peel house hes a very good one in my opinion, theres quite a few there, the receptions hard work though. thing is though with that many docs the odds on seeing one are not too bad.

Re: Doctors

I have Dr Manuel!!! He's great...when I was younger he came to my house to look at a rash I had.... He said 'Make sure she drinks fizzy pop like lemonade or lucazade'.... as you can image at a young age this made me rather happy hehe. He's been great recently too

I have Dr Manuel to, good doctor.

After 2 Paramedics and a Call Out doctor couldnt discover I needed my apendics (SP) removing rather quickly and told me the pain would go away just a little tummy bug.

Upon seeing Dr Manual he instantly knew what it was and got me rushed to the hospital, lucky for me I didnt take the others advise.

So I would recommed Dr Manual.

Re: Doctors

I also go to Dr Dixon/Manuel at Myrtle House. They are brilliant (bear in mind that I have done clinics for a lot of GPs in this area and wouldn't let some of them treat my dog).
It is difficult to get on at Myrtle though because it is a popular surgery. Good Luck doc hunting.

Re: Doctors

I too have Dr Dixon & Manuel, have seen both doctors and they're both brilliant. Also when they do have to get a locum to cover for them, they somehow find the best locums around. As Lettie says there is quite a waiting list, think it's around six weeks at the moment.
