 Mobile Islamic Handheld Mosque Azan Salah Namaaz Bayaan Receiver Scanner Radio | eBay I'm thinking of buying a handheld scanner, not the above version though,apparently there's more going on on them than there is on the cb radio... ....does anyone know what sort of things you can hear on them nowadays? You use to be able to listen to the emergency services,planes,ships etc.

I would be surprised if that radio is legal, it transmits as well and I suspect you can't on those frequencies
Not sure what you can get now. I know my wife used to listen to the Police pulling me over when I used to drive home from her house at silly o'clock before we were married so about 20 years ago
