Re: Ebay, am I only one never to have Used?

Just bought another car off Ebay, Ford Cougar, 2.5 X Pack, 2000 (W Reg) - £2,400. I had to travel to Whitehaven to collect it but that was only £9 on the train.

This is the 3rd car I've had on Ebay, all have been main dealer part exchanges that have been sold on by Ebay car traders. I've been pleased with all three. I bought a Saab convertible a few years ago for £4.5k, and sold it a year later for £5.5k through Autotrader.

The only thing I can think of is if you were a major seller and the money you made on E-bay became an issue for the taxman.

Or maybe if you bought stuff from abroad that was worth more than the £18/£36 import limit and you had to pay the 'import duty'?

I've never used it either.

I dislike shopping full stop.

I don't describe on line buying as 'shopping' and rarely do shopping in the conventional sense - all that thraipsing between stores is tiring and a waste of time and energy
