I got a fancy little carrier bag with dad written on the side, filled to the top with shredded yellow tissue paper, not much of a gift you might think, until I reached into the bottom and found a mug with piccies of my granddaughter on it.
Oh and I got a card as well though for some reason I didn't find the £20 note I expected to be in it!  |

I got a card from my son for Father's Day .. stating you have been Mum and Dad to me ... yes, I have, but brought me to tears with the acknowledgment.

I am not sure if the compliment was meant for me or for my daughters for buying the stuff for me in the first place.
