help with sound on xbox360

hi i have tried to search on the net for a solution but i cant find it

my problem is revving engines and (mainly when my fella is playing- the sound of crashes, gunshots and screams )

can anybody please tell me how to channel the xbox game sounds through headphones so that it isnt coming through my screen

it is connected to a HP2207h screen which has usb sockets if thats any help ( i have plugged usb headphones in but it doesnt seem to work ,the usbs only seem to work when my computer is on)

so any help is greatfully recieved x

If you want to channel the sound from the xbox and still be able to play online - best thing to do is buy something like these - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Turtle-Beach...2852345&sr=8-8 - I bought them for my son and he loves them!

getthe xbox 360 headset or see if your tv has a headphone socket somewhere

or

levae the house while he plays , dont you know its rude to interupt people while gaming

im pretty sure they do or it may be my xbox 1 that did

edit:

cant find my 360 head set now i may be wrong but i think in the game settings you can select ausio to go through to the headset , probably wrong but im sure iv seen an option like that

Ive found that the mute button works

yeah they do channel sound, the ones nikkival showed you are turtlebeach i have some myself and they do both.
