Re: House to rent, accy clayton areas

My son is renting a 4 bed place at the moment - they are scarce.
The easiest way to look is to use this site
Find property to rent in BB5
...then you can specify the number of bedrooms before looking = saves time and patience

Between £800 and £1000 is the going rate for 4 beds, I doubt you will find what you want for less

That sounds like you have found rocking horse do do
I hope it fits the bill with no snags, but at that price there are some snags that are tolerable

Re: House to rent, accy clayton areas

These big new houses are usually owned by developers who rent out until a buyer is found - that's why 'security' lasts for only 6 months.
My son has rented from such a developer for 7 months and the house has now been sold.
Fortunately the developer has offered him tenancy of the one next door, and the release of funds on divorce is likely before the next 6 months is up.

Re: House to rent, accy clayton areas

the good/bad thing depends what way you look at it is as we have a disabled child we have a grant for ground floor bedroom and wetroom,so a private landlord would get this added to the house for free as long as the house is rented to us for a fixed number of years,5yrs min i think and at a below market rent, about 100 less pcm i think?
