My brother's birthday is three days after mine, a fact I hated when I was a child, when we had to share birthday parties, and my little aesthete chums had to valiantly share the same table as his rufty tufty friends.
This year we were all going out for a family dinner, another shared celebration with my brother, but I was too ill to go. Happily we had another the next month, when I was better.

never bother about mine for years now, always celebrate the bosses, with either a meal or this year took her to spain for a fortnight - gave her the choice a meal or spain.

i spent mine going out with three of my male mates, richard, kieron and batesy, those three got hammered and i was sober

I went to work and then went round to my sisters and we all went out for a meal to the opening nite of the spice room - there was 11 of us all together. And the food was good as well. Then came home and came online. Didnt get drunk - still not drinking.

We tend to do 'bar crawls' here as there are over thirty in our village. The cunning plan is to visit as many as we can. The trouble is that the older we get the less we cover!
As far as I can remember, we managed nine on my birthday, back in May. Not a good effort but happen we'll do better next time!
