Yuk, I'll stick with coffee.

It should really be called Mersey Tea, as according to their website they are based in Newton-le-Willows, which is now in the Metropolitan County of Merseyside and not Lancashire.

:engsmil: The Real Friends of Lancashire or Made in Lancashire would not agree. There are many from Manchester, Merseyside and Cumbria who still feel they are part of the great county of Lancashire. Well, I have had a look at their website.......I like loose tea...or leaf tea as it is also called. I would be pushing it to get through 6 kilo's of loose leaf tea.......now if it was sold in half pound packs, well I just might be tempted to try it. At present I use either Tata (which is packaged by Brooke Bond) or Tesco Premium leaf Tea.....having said that i am finding it increasingly difficult to find loose leaf tea.......tea bags seem to be taking over.

We are a new company and have recieved great support from the people of Lancashire. MargThe web site is selling 6 x 250gram of loose tea

Thanks Oscar Wilde you made us join the site anyway. We can't use the any other title for legal reasons. plus we might upset are friends who are the real friends of Lancashire

I have a box of Lancashire tea sat in one of the kitchen cupboards. Not actually tried it yet as I've already got another box of Asda tea bags on the go, but the said box of Lancashire tea was bought in Accrington's Asda. Go have a look!

It's a stronger fuller flavour than asda'a own, I used to like yorkshire tea, I'm on 1640 bags of pg pyramids at the moment.

I was at teh NW Food lovers festival at Tatton Park yesterday and picked up a sample of Lancashire tea. Very nice it is too (altjough I am sat drinking it in Cheshire with Cheshire water, I'll try a cup tonight with good old Accy corporation pop.
