who owns the little lodge behind whittakers
and whats it called ?
heard it had some decent fish inside it ?

Just had another nosy on google earth, it looks like there's a farm building quite close, maybe its their land.

Is it the Quarry pit we used to swim in as children? If it is it will be Lancs Counnty Council land, as they own the Quarry land, and lease it for Limestone extraction and landfilling.

had a ponder up ( no pun) and it appears as the bungalow owner owns it im not sure it is at the side of hillock vale mill shop just before foxwood chase.

When I were a lad it was owned by Leather Head, otherwise known as James Leitherd, local egg producer (well his hens produced them really). If you follow this link http://ww2.hyndburnbc.gov.uk/Your_Co...pla_report.pdf
I think you will find he or his family still own it and earlier this year submitted a planning application to build 3 houses next to it. It's application no.4 on page 15.
