Re: NTL television

Live near the hospital and have got it there damers. I now know how stupid i was xtatic, but hadn't heard any bad reports about it before. Can't tell them i'm moving to Preston mummiboo as we also have the telephone and broadband with NTL, (i can see xtatic now rolling about on the floor laughing at me.) Happy with the telephone and broadband it's just the TV. Looks like we're stuck with it until next year.

Re: NTL television

After the first month of the contract you're allowed to change the package. You then downgrade to the lowest cost deal available.

Re: NTL television

You may have to keep the telly package but at least you should be on the minimum cost till the end of your contract.

Re: NTL television

If the package does not do what it promised, you can repudiate the contract on the basis that you have not got what you were offered/sold. If you just don't like it, there is very little you can do about it - you could try telling them that you are not satisfied and why, and that you would like to terminate the contract, but you are at their mercy. Next time - ask why it's a year's contract without a try-out period first!

Re: NTL television

How long have you had the service for?
What are the problems you are having?

cableforum.co.uk might be a better place as they get this question a lot.

In general I find the billing department to be staffed by morons that cannot operate a computer, and a computer that has problems in removing wrong charges.

I still get letters even though I left months ago.
