Old Doll

My mum has aquired some old stuff from a late uncle and I`m trying to find some info on it, most of it is personal stuff like medals etc. but there is this old "creepy" doll and can`t find any info about it. There is nothing written anywhere that I can find so just a picture, I`ve done a google image search that comes up with nothing similar.
Anyone remember having anything like it or know what it is?

Re: Old Doll

Thanks Max, maybe home made then? Underneath the coat looks like leather. I`ll try for a better look tomorrow.

Re: Old Doll

Looks Canadian ... the kind of outfit that would handle the weather we get 7 months of the year.

Re: Old Doll

I sent a couple of pics to this place - https://auctionata.com/en-us/free-va...kPfw&noredir=1 to see if they knew anything about it, here`s their reply.

Many thanks for your enquiry!

Our expert has established the following estimated price for your item:

doll, late 19th century, unknown maker,
estimate: 50-100,- Euro

This piece is unfortunately not suitable for sale through auctionata.com, because your object did not reach our internal price limit. Please contact local traders or another online shop for the sale instead.

How interesting.
So it is a real antique.
Maybe you should be taking it to a David Dickinsons Real Deal if it comes to a local area....that is, of course, if you want to sell it.

Re: Old Doll

It`s not mine Margaret, it was in an old suitcase that my mum got when her uncle died, there were quite a few interesting items from early last century and the war, including some Nazi playing cards (don`t have a pic of them though).
