Other towns' forums

I am aware of forums, similar to this one, for Blackburn, Bolton , Rossendale & Preston. Which other Lancashire towns have them? Are any as well used as ours?

Re: Other towns' forums

Preston's used to be 'Prestone' which began as only for the use of the local bands, acts and entertainers, but then became a forum like this one-for discussions, advice, general community. I was a moderator on it and am friends with the owner of it-who decided in the end that he couldn't be bothered with it any longer! It's a real shame as it was very popular, I loved it!
Another guy I know set up 'P-Town', which is totally dead most of the time-I may have a look at it now but it's just not as good and nobody bothers with it really.

I am on the Leeds one which is not as user-friendly as this one (my opinion only) but is popular and always has a lot of traffic.
I'm not sure about anywhere else.

Despite no longer frequenting Accrington and only ever doing so briefly, I love this forum!
I know I'm not as active as some, not able to join in the discussions based around growing up in Accrington, or the local sites, etc, but I do.

Re: Other towns' forums

Burnley was very hit and miss, with hindsight they should have combined with Rossendale IMHO

Re: Other towns' forums

The current trend tends to be Facebook Group based stuff.
