please remind me - karma rules Q

whats the rules about giving to the same person a second time? I keep trying to give karma to someone (and have been doing for seems like an age) but it always says I must spread it around.

I know I don't throw it round like confetti but its seems to be a silly long time or number of others I have to 'credit' before I can give it where I think its deserved.

You can only dish karma out twice a day and you must spread it to 10 other people before you can re-dish to the same person again.
