Most Wards have open visiting fro 2pm-8pm, but there is a list of visiting times in the Telegraph......failing that ring the ward and ask.....or just go and act dumb!

I'm sure if you just turn up and say you have travelled quite a way they will let you in....I know when I worked at QPH I would have done!

Re: Qph

Decided going to go about fourish. Go before or after that time will probably get stuck with football traffic.

My husband has gone out of visiting times before, and has been let in. But it's usually before he starts work at at noon and has no way of visiting.

The staff are usually pretty flexible, but you should be Ok with that time......and no, you don't want to get tied up in the footie traffic!

Re: Qph

The only time I found them objecting to visitors was just after the patients had their lunch and they were expected to have a nap.
