Sharn Hall

Please can someone tell me if Sharn Hall is or was an actual hall or a district of Accrington.

Not 100% sure but I think the Fire Station is where Sharn Hall lodge used to be.

I'm more or less certain the house/lodge is still there as I've seen the lady who lives/d there out walking her dogs round that way. It was a hairdressers at one time.

Retlaw has pointed out on another thread that it was somewhere between Hyndburn Rd and Henry Street, Church. I recall a fine house close by the bridge there on the Accrington side. It was a ruin in the 1950s
