Visiting Accrington

Hey,

I'm coming to accrington for the first time on the 2nd january to watch accrington take on gillingham in the fa cup with my girlfriend. I was wondering if anyone could reccommend anywhere for us to grab a bit to eat (preferably sit down) and a nice pub to grab a couple of drinks before/ after the match. We're both in our mid 20's if that makes a difference.

Thanks for any help.

Re: Visiting Accrington

The Oak Lea on Whalley Road around a five minute walk from the ground. Separate restaurant part with very nice meals, a good pub with a friendly atmosphere that fills up with both home and away fans on match days. Here's a picture of it...

Give it a try - you'll enjoy it.
