The temp actually climbed to 90 F yesterday. Fine if ya at the beach or pool but not while doing all kinds of manual "stuff!" And the weather better warm up as I don't want to have to pack long-johns and sweater for me trip!
Oh yeah, speaking of how it was too hot: Got a bit dehydrated while climbing a tree. Needed some heavy pruning to get more light to the little pond I've got. While about 25 feet up, smashed me head with the pruning shears, which opened a pretty nice gash over my eye! So, there I was dizzy, dehy., bleeding quite nicely, and way up in the tree. Of course, as a good solid Englishman, got me senses back, kept the blood out of me eyes, and continued up another 10 feet to finish the job. Of course Cindy comes home just as I'm reaching the peak. Spent the next 10 minutes getting down from the tree while being lovingly lamblasted by my darling wife! I guess this could have gone in the Life in Culpeper thread eh? Alright then . . . move along! the weather today around 3.00 in afternoon was warm!
had me ruddy jumper on, i was boiling and looked a twerp!

I finally cut the grass in the back garden this afternoon and them clouds seemed to get darker and darker but it didnt rain. Did get warmer as the afternoon went on. Hope its not raining tomorrow - got to finish the garden off and get my washing dry that i couldnt stick out today.

What I did find quite endearing tonight was a weather girl on BBC 1 .. Elizabeth Shah ?? Obviously .. pregnant and for all the world to see. . many years ago she would have been pulled when it became obvious. Good progress ..
