I's the only one of it's kind round here (2 mins up the road from our farm) -the woodland is quite rare as it is mainly Elms (many got lost through Dutch elm disease back in the 80's) so it's WWF protected. Fab pics Eric, I'm so envious! The cat's obviously in there because she is the colour of snow! And I assume the pink blob in pic 3 is your little JRT - took me a while to see her! Glad to see she's well wrapped up! - pink for a girl!

Here are some pics I took in 2009 - we had snow again last yr but couldn't be arsed to get the camera out.

From these you will see that our house overlooks a cemetery (that's the back of our house on the extreme left in pic 1) and also that we have a pretty creative snow sculptor somewhere about.

The fifth picture shows what I don't like about snow here - they chuck so much salt around it quickly turnsto grey slush.

Wonder what we'll get this year? only one mild frost so far.

Scotch it is then ... Have to wait for some real cold weather before the ice fishing starts ... I fish in the Bay of Quinte ... Should have taken a pic of the white cat in the snow!

I made a snow-cat the other year with my son Eddy came out really well -will look out the pics....

If your cats are anything like mine they won't go anywhere near the outdoors while there's snow about.

Yup ... that little pink blob is my munchkin ... she looks pretty in pink ... kinda like Molly Ringwald Maybe you guys will luck out this winter and not have the snow and the cold.

I know ... the result wasn't unexpected .... but it was a great game. There's no shortage of excitement in a Grey Cup Final ... It's a great game. What would you rather watch, Sunderland vs Wigan, or the Eskimos against the Stamps in a play-off How do I get the scotch to you ... it's too far to drive. Pity you can't e-mail booze.
