Re: wheres haslingden sports centre?

Helmshore Road, Flaxmoss, Haslingden, you may have to get off in Haslingden and change as it's a fair old walk albeit down hill.
Clarence Hotel Flaxmoss Haslingden Rossendale:: OS grid SD7822 :: Geograph British Isles - photograph every grid square!
this photo and map should help as the Sports Centre is next to The Clarence Hotel.
Hope this helps

Re: wheres haslingden sports centre?

Get on the X44 manchester bus and ask for victoria park.
Check that the bus driver is going down helmshore road. Then ask for victoria park. When the bus has gone thro hassy and gone past the school and is on helmshore road stay on the bus past the park - get up when you are going over the bypass bridge. Get off at the next stop. Carry on walking down the road past the clarence pub and the sports centre is right next door. If there isnt one going down helmshore road - get off in haslingden, carry on walking down past the memorial gardens and police station. Turn right along east bank avenue, past the swimming pool and the school to the end of the road. Turn left walk down that road past the park, over the bypass bridge, past relish butty shop, and past the clarence. It takes about 15 minutes to walk it down from haslingden.
