does anyone know what time the tip closes please i need to get rid of some rubbish today if possible thanks

It's open 24 hrs a day ....... But not at night.

I found this on the HBC website
In addition, most household waste including batteries, oil, rubble and wood can be recycled at the Household Waste Recycling Centres located at Whinney Hill Landfill Site, Accrington and Alan Ramsbottom Way , Great Harwoo*d. These sites are open 8.00am to 7.00pm every day except Christmas Day, Boxing day and New Years Day.
