Fred and Esther Phillips

Hi,
Does anybody remember my Grandma and Grandad Fred and Esther at all? During the 70's and early 80's they ran Union Street club before moving on to run the Church Con club. (I think they were there until it shut down. My Grandma then became Matron at Church View in Ossy and my Grandad worked for a firm in Darwin. My grandad was quite an acomplished Snooker player, which is what has prompted me to ask the question. An article in the Observer showed a picture of my grandad along with several other Union Street regulars and Dennis Taylor taken in about 1980. As they spent so many years in the clubs i was hoping some of the members may remember them. My Grandad was also a long term member of the Pioneer in Church until his death in 2001. I would love to hear any memories of these 2 wonderful people.
