Geoff Taylor (R.I.P)

The Accrington family has lost a member. Yesterday, Geoff Taylor. 74yrs(?) died at his home in France. He had been suffering from motor neurone disease Geoff didn't like Accrington - he LOVED it His home was full of pictures , photographs, books and postcards. Before he went to live in France, Geoff had run a catering business from premises in Plantation St - a former butcher's shop where had served his apprenticeship. He and I worked together on compiling 'Accrington Acclaimed' a few years back, using his collection of postcards as a basis for the book.

May he rest in peace
