Hello everybody!

It`s not WHO is, it`s WHERE IS?

I am very happy about this possibility searching for somebody in this forum! Thank you admin!

O.k,...I hope, someone can help me..My name is Barbara.

I am searching for Kirsty Lancaster (I don`t know, if that is still her name "Lancaster")

In october 1983 we met the first time. I was visited Accrington with exchange pupils from Fröndenberg/Germany.It was a great time!

Her address was 75 Oakwood Rd, Accrington

It would be wonderful to hear from her again!

Sorry, but I don`t know the name of the school...hmmm, but it must be a highschool - we were 15 years old...

But there are some names I remember:

Darren , her brother, Elizabeth, her best girl-friend,(Elizabeths`s mother worked at a radio-station near or in Accrington) Alan...?

I have a friend who used to live on Oakwood Road (not sure if she was there in 1983 but the family may still be there) I will phone and ask if she knows them, post later to let you know, Just a thought it may be easier to trace Darren because his surname is unlikely to have changed.

dont want to be the obvious one here BUT!!!!!!!! in the phone book there is a N Lancaster living at 75 oakwood.....

My friend doesn't know her but sounds like jimmyjim has located them still at the address you gave.

Hi Barbara, and welcome to Accyweb.

I was at the same junior school as Kirstie Lancaster and Elizabeth Lang. I think they went to Hollins High School after that.

I believe that Kirstie trained in nursing and went doing voluntary services overseas. There is an article in this months Midwives magazine which mentions Kirstie. She has just finished working a 5 month stint in Darfur and has moved on to work in Ethiopia. The voluntary organisation she works for is called Maternity Worldwide.

I'm glad you've found the right Kirsty Lancaster Barbara.... I never really realised that I knew of 2 Kirsty/Kirstie Lancasters until now, one abroad and one down south..
