Phillip Pratt, Optician

The shop on Abbey Street was sold by Phillip Pratt to the present owner seven years ago. They do not have his new address, which is 'down South'. Can you help me find him?

Re: Phillip Pratt, Optician

I simply don't know. There was a Barrie Pratt at Accrington Grammar School, but they are not related.

I thought the same. I was in the same form as his daughter at high school.
My parents were born in 1909 so would be centenarians if they were still living.

George was well into his seventies when he died, which must have been twenty years ago and I think Philip was the elder

Re: Phillip Pratt, Optician

I have just spoken to one of Philip Pratt's sons, John. I have learned that Philip has died, also Jaqueline, mentioned by Margaret earlier. Philip's son Martin took the business over but sold out 7yrs ago and lives down South (?) I cannot help with the Haslingden query.

So sad to hear that Jacqueline has died.
She never attended reunions but our organiser (Jean) kept track of most of us. Very few are 'whereabouts unknown'
