omg mr roper ....what a guy..lmao... he was one hell of a character.. we used to have him dithering ,shaking ,and almost crying. he really hated taking us for class..haha

god some of the lads in our class really used to have a pop at him poor guy lol..

although i once saw him loose his temper and and he run out of the room to fetch miss moore ..we all crapped it then ..pmsl

Hi Folks - Just joined.
I left Rhyddings in 1954 just when meat came off ration.
Anyone still alive remember those times?
I lived in Church Kirk

No - Brian Yates lived at the top of Church Kirk Lane - very good footballer.

I was at Rhyddings 76-81, Viv Townsend was my form tutor and was very easy going.
