I went to St Marys from 1994-1996, what a wonderful place. Anyone remember the maths teacher who used to have world record for reciting Pi?

yeh, mr poultney i think. he did it for charity one year, wearing a guinness t-shirt for some reason! happy days indeed.
i once made the mistake of asking him how to work out pi and he gave me a half hour lecture in the corridor... it was 4o'clock as well! needless to say i missed the bus.

91 to 93 for me. If I recall I did spend rather a large quantity of time in the Sportsmans Arms - Which would explain why I only managed to get the one A level in two years of study.

Re: St.Marys College

Yes, an authoritarian principle and deputy have arrived.

For example, cards are now banned because some people play poker and gamble.
Correct me if im wrong, but Camcorders are not banned because some people record movies in the cinema..

Compulsory ID cards came in to effect (fair enough security and all) however the price of the cards rose to £5 when they became compulsory.
