Thomas Barton

A few years ago, I coprresponded with a Mr Barton whose ancestors lived in Accrington and one was a Blackburn electrical engineer. I've lost his contact details. I'd like to get in touch.

Re: Thomas Barton

Hi Bob, it's me!

Your envelope arrived this morning (Fri 20-12-2013). The business card matches the bits and pieces I got from you a couple of years ago.

I haven't found any link between my family and Thomas' family. I've got my cousin on the case as he's done more research into the Bartons than I have.

Enticingly, my great-uncle Clarance Barton had an electrical shop, in St Annes I think, but that may just be coincidence.

Re: Thomas Barton

If it turns out that this Thomas Barton of Blackburn is not one of your lot , I suggest that you post on the Family History forum to offer it and let me post it on a Blackburn site.

I found a Victorian business card recently for a Blackburn electrician, Thomas Barton, and sent it to Roger
