Meccano
 

Over the years I've collected Meccano and built some fine models.

I've now decided to get rid of it all. Some brand new, some like new, some a bit worn but all in useable condition.
There must be 80 gears of all shapes and sizes, bevels worm and pinion and straight cut of various sizes. Hundreds of girders and strips and various connecting parts plus dozens of axles from 2 inch to 2 foot. Thousand nuts bolt and washer also.
All in all it must weigh about 3 kg boxed. I know I had to use 4 boxes in order to move it, I'm 82 and not as strong as I was.
If anybody is interested in taking it away to show young children engineering skills I will be happy to let it go for £30. I could get much more if I sold it in lots on eBay but I've had my fun out of it over the years and would like somebody else to use the parts. I'm only asking £30 to good home.

Thanks for the enquiries about the Meccano.
It has now gone off to a new home with a very nice gentleman who seems delighted with all the gears and parts. He already has plans for what he’s going to bulld.
