WANTED laptop for under £200

i know this may be a strange request here but im looking for a laptop for my works as they are looking to take there work with them i want nothing fancy just something that can get the necessary jobs done if possible i/we would like one with all the office programs installed such as powerpoint and word as we go out to meetings and make presentations on what we do if you would like to come and see us we are based at unit 1a fairfield street and the company is called Hyndburn Used Furniture Store

any help or sudgestions would be appreciated

If you keep an eye on hotukdeals.com you often get new ones for under £250. I would recommend one of them over a second hand one most of the time( second laptops are notorious for dodgy batteries

Make sure its XP( or Linux! ) .

Re office, you can download OpenOffice for nothing that will do what you want ( word processing/presentations ) and acan read and write MS Office formats.

Or, just a thought, if you are a registered charity, you are entitled to a special discounted price from the major IT resellers (ie ebuyer, dabs, pcwb). I know this is the case for Hewlett Packard and they have a low spec basic laptop (53 series) that may be close to your price range with the special bid. Not sure about the other manufacturers

thats great thanks for the support guys we do a lot for the community so i wanted to help do something for them i/we can stretch just over there budget so ill take a look at all the gives sites and im already a member of hotukdeals but there site was not permissed on the internet at work

I bought a refurbished desktop from this lot 2 years ago and it's still going strong. IBM Thinkpad's are decent machines too.
