i saw this from start to finish. the rangers fans were a disgrace to their club. yes the screen failed but the reaction they had towards the police and the pubs/bars was shameful.
it was goin brilliantly upto then

I refrained from posting on the earlier thread about how the people of Manchester should not be wingeing about the Rangers fans coming down to Manchester,but it was obvious this was going to happen.I go on the FC United forum and they have been cursing the event and practically forsaw what was going to happen.On there was press clippings etc to do with when Rangers visited Barcelona and the same thing happened there.I remember back in the 80's when English football teams were banned from european competitions maybe this is the only option left to the uefa governing body.I would just feel sorry for the other Scottish teams who would be severely hit financially if this was to happen.Manchester staged some of the european championship games in the 90's yes there was minor incidents but nothing on this scale of this.Perhaps instead of banning Scotlands football teams as a whole Rangers them selves maybe should be banned for a couple of years from european competions suppose that would be the fairest way around.What do other football fans think?Something should be done about it.

or fans of fc united who havent got a clue what happened yesterday.up to yesterday rangers never had one supporter arrested in eight away european ties..i agree there was a few undesirables but dont tarnish all rangers supporters with the same brush you havnt got a clue..

hmmm...mthead you seem to making out that man utd fans never fight when playing in europe and always smell of roses...remember roma away for starters ?...there are even clips on that site you talk about showing man u fans fighting with each other in some ground !! I also remember man utd fans running at rangers fans when they played at ibrox a few seasons ago...if you want to start tit for tat by posting videos thenI am up for a full scale argument as I can easily do the same showing people the real man utd..
and using the phrase 'a few undesirables' could possibly be used as out of 160,000 fans - 220 acted like scum and rioted - now what % is that ?...I would say a few.. checkmate - your move.. |
