Blackburn Rd Car Park Closed

Looks like a serious accident on the car park. Closed off from bottom of Willows Lane since 6.30pm. Still closed now.

Blackburn Rd itself, usually referred to on here as the car park because of the number of cars parked up on the yellow lines :)

Incident
No casualties - burst gas main probably causing the delay

Not as bad as it looks then :)

Was actually a small white van, we saw it being taken away on the back of the towtruck.

there was a crah there last thursday about teatime too....only a matter of time before there is some one seriously injured....

Seems to be a discepancy in our house, it may have been a blue car on the back of the towtruck. One of us has bad eyesight :D:D:D:D

More importantly will they remember to make sure the yellow lines are visible for parking up tomorrow :rolleyes:

Probably one of those who race around in flash cars come along and with cars parked up going to indian place or a-z no room to move and crash. blame the only people who ever really park on that bit.

one of the worst places is that shop that used to be bootleggers on blackburn rd there is allways a van on the pavment (all four wheels on the pavement ) not just two loading or unloading.
i have seen people with prams having to walk into the road to get past
