Barefaced cheek!!!!

Three young men with 3 children have set up a barbeque on the back lawn of the flat next door.

I have had to close my windows at the back to keep out the smoke and foul greasy smell.

They are not residents - they just saw a patch of unfenced lawn and set up a picnic with barbeque- barefaced cheek!!!!

I don't believe this - one man has just strolled off the path a few a feet and had a 'public urination event'

Thats awful, Call the police now and tell them that he has been indecent. Maybe they will get shut of them.

By the looks of them, by doing that I would be 'living dangerously'
Perhaps I should just be thankful that they don't have a ghetto blaster.

Re: Barefaced cheek!!!!

I have just talked to my neighbour who has advised me that one of the men IS a resident - local alky, who has brought 2 of his alky mates +kids up to his flat.

It seems that this man has had past warnings ref nuisance behaviour.
So the police won't be able to do anything - but a report to our landlord seems to be the way to go

see PM - plenty of open spaces nearby suitable for picnics without causing smoke nuisance

He'll probably argue that it's his bit of space and he's entitled to use it. Is it his flat?

Unfortunately yes - I am told that the other residents in that block get aggro from his drunken visitors and he has been warned to behave.
The lawn areas are communal and not allocated to specific flats

Sounds like he'd argue that he has as much right as anybody to use it for what he wants seeing as how he lives there. You have my sympathy. We had some neighbours who used to sit in their front garden in summer getting progressively drunker and louder as the day wore on.
