LLC need to learn a few things..

for example a huge hole in the ground is not called a ramp its a bloody ditch and as such should be covered up.

luckily i saw the supposed ramps which i will call trenches on union road as it wasnt quite dark but even at 20mph your car takes a pretty big whallop to the wheels as its pretty deep, there are a few others which arnt too bad but one of them is way too deep to be left uncoverd and it should have had those iron plates put over it to protect our cars especially as these ditches arnt visable at night and have been labled up incorrectly as ramps

just after the speed camera

I think we must have had an earthquake, the fault lines seem to have stretched from Willows Lane to Union Rd

they keep on digging up union road when theres much worse areas that need attending to, it was only last year or possibly the year before they totaly tore up union road and resufaced most of it including the areas that have dug up yet again and the lazy batards should cover deep ditches up especially on very busy roads that already get tailbacks without people slamming on to avoid damage to their cars when they realise its not a ramp ahead like the sign says but a great bloody ditch

its not like people are speeding either there is an active speed camera there so no ones going too fast but even so people are still slowing down extra for the ramps but even at slow speed your car takes a whollop which isnt good especially as a lot of cars come with alloy wheels now which dont look so good with chunks out of them

OOPS I MEANT LCC BUT IF THEY CANT GET THEIR SIGNS RIGHT WHY SHOULD I GET THEIR NAME RIGHT :D

Every year the motorists of Ontario cast their ballots for the Province's worst street or stretch of road ... this does have the affect of shaming city councils' into fixing them. Last year Brock St. in Kingston came in at number 2 ... a commendable effort:rolleyes: And this year, City Council spent millions fixing, you guessed it, Brock Street:mosher:

The steel plates are a great idea ... but in the absence of these, flourescent paint along the edges of the canyons at least provides some warning ... it's cheap and effective ... maybe LCC could come up with a few bucks, oops, pounds, and pay someone who flunked out of Hamburger University to do a little spraying. But it is a pain in the ass, and the wallet ... I've had to replace two broken struts on my car in the past year.

You could always do what some guys here do: take your car to be fixed; ask the mechanic for the broken bits he replaced; then take the messed up struts, springs etc. and dump the suckers on the steps of City Hall. Don't know how effective it is, but it probably lowers one's frustration level a tad.
