You can accuse Germans of many things, but having a sense of irony is not one of them.

I haven't seen anything on any of our news channels about the unrest within farming communties in Germany and Ireland...and that farmers have been blocking main roads with tractors in many German cities.
Protests have also been held in Belguim and France.
New regulations are being imposed on farmers about what pesticides they can use.

And yes some of this goes back to the latter part of last year...but NOT reported here in the UK

Maybe this will be of use,

then use the search box (top right) in the header or either click on Germany in the blue bit. :)

Unless it meets the Metropolitan Woke agenda, you won’t see or hear anything on the Bull**** Broadcasting Corpse.
As to the House of Lardarses, York is far too nice for them.

Yes, you are right about York being too nice for the HoL....and they would be looking to claim increased expenses for being out of the capital.

it dont matter the Lords cannot reverse it, B.J. can reject any amendment if his majority votes it down.

They know it, Cashy, but like a bunch of spoilt brats the so-called Lords and Ladies are just trying to delay things out of spite.

It’s not even that EU citizens are under any threat.

Re: Referendum is a load of crap.!!

To reconnect northern voters, there needs to be a shift in politics.
A shift away from paternalistic 'we understand things better than you' view held by a lot of MP's and a shift towards doing what the constituents voted for....they need to be doing what benefits the regions they were voted into.
The disenchantment has come about because the electorates votes have been trashed, taken no notice of.
We have been told that the way to change things is through the ballot box, but this has not had any effect.

Another thing is that MP's should come from the place they represent...not be parachuted in from elsewhere.
A local person SHOULD have more understanding of the needs of the area.....though that did not prove to be true in the case of our Ex MP.
