James Last
 

R.I.P. James Last. Been to several of his concerts. They were always like a big party. Not many bands can play such a wide range of music, Classics, Pop, Middle of the road. He was a brilliant arranger. I am sure he will be missed by millions around the world.

I got a liking for James Last after buying my first stereo record from Mary Mortimor.
I converted a mono record player to stereo and wanted to test it.
Mary told me James Last had just released one so I bought it.
I bought a few more after that, great musician great music.
