RIP Dad - Geoff Edwardson

My father, Geoff Edwardson, sadly passed away in his sleep on Saturday 31st August 2019 aged 85 at Church View Care Home Oswaldtwistle.

He was landlord at the Old Bank Hotel, Blackburn (1977-88), The Greyhound on Whitehead St Blackburn, Steward at the Top Club Clayton-le-Moors, The Globe in Accrington and The Antley Accrington amongst many others.

I am so sorry for your sad loss, Ryewolf. It sounds like your dad had a very full and interesting life. I bet there were lots of stories he was able to tell you over the years and lots of laughs. Although his passing will leave a big hole in your life remember the happy memories he has left behind not just for you but for all the people whose lives he touched.

Thanks Dotti, yes, he was a great practical joker and had a rye sense of humour - he would have thought a funeral on a Friday 13th hilarious....

When he first went into the care home he told everyone and the staff that his sister was a pole dancer..... despite her being in her 70's
