a 'musical' road

A stretch of road in California recently had grooves cut into it to play a tune when you travel at a certain speed
Lancaster gets its groove back

ok a couple of questions .....if this idea was to be implemented in Accrington what Street would be best and what 'tune' should it be ?

And what do you think it would sound like if you drove down the road in reverse

For my own safety i`ll not name any street/road names but the tune most certainly playing would be `Highway To Hell`..................

Re: a 'musical' road

Very clever!

If it was my street it would be 'mudslide' by The Bluetones cos people keep revving up on our grassy banks n making it a big mess

On the way back it would be 'what took you so long?' by The Courteeners

Re: a 'musical' road

I'm sure i've read somewhere recently that its being taken out, because of complaints from residents near the road due to noise (to me in that video though it didnt look like there was any signs of life near by!! lol)

Couldn't you just drive on the right side of the road (in your case the left) ..
