Boots - Problem
The whole frontage of Boots was taped off with Police Incident Tape this afternoon - anyone have any knowledge of what was going on?

The council asked the police to tape it off. Apparently there is some loose masonry on Boots

The facing tiles at the top of the apex are lifting off so the whole frontage of Boots is fenced off - prescription are available at the rear of the store.

Looks like the place is falling apart - better have a word with the guys who built Rome's colliseum their motar seems to be passing the test of time. I reported that problem 8 years ago when I was store manager there. Those windows are in the staffroom and were leaking in badly way back then. If they haven't acted on the very obvious problem in all that time it's no wonder they now have a structural issue like that.The water was coming into the building from above the windows, I would suggest the roof has failed and the rain has got into the brickwork, frozen, expanded and then thawed.
