For those of you who didn't receive a calendar...tough.
It's the result of your councillors not agreeing to the calendars being funded from H.B.C.'s coffers. Who cares about what else the money could have been spent on in the borough, when you can look at the pretty pictures instead?

I recently received a calender through my door from the local area council. Does anybody know why the calender only features the names and pictures of Conservative Councillors?

Thanks for your reply, but it can be that. The Area Council I live in has Conservative Councillors, but it also has Labour Councillors. Bit confusing really.

My calendar at least had the contact details of the councillors who represent the ward I live in. I'm afraid mine has long since been recycled, as those councillors just weren't as pretty as the photographs in the Friends of Rhyddings Park calendar.
