Unhappy Bubonic Plague in the U.S.

I was going to putTHIS WEB SITE on "anything goes" but an interesting fact arose from the site.

The site basically gives adverse weather and hazardous Items such as aeroplane crashes, diseases etc that has occurred or reported in the U.S.A over the past 24 hours.

The thing that struck me was the outbreaks of bubonic plague that seems to be rife in America. The last major outbreak in the U.K. was over 350 years ago but according to this site, outbreaks have been reported in New Mexico and in California (dead squirrel) over the past 24 hours.

Perhaps our American members can inform us of how much of a worry or a problem this is (if at all)

Re: Bubonic Plague in the U.S.

There are apparently between 6 and 10 cases of bubonic plague reported every year in America. I don't think we have to worry about an epidemic.

Wow good headlines, Major outbreak 350 years ago, 1 reported doesn't consititute a Major Outbreak, but I hear the Sun are looking for good investigative Journalists.
