Clare Short - a Cockroach not a bug

Who else is sick of this treacherous woman and the unquestioning drivel broadcast by the Guardian/Independent television & radio channels, a.k.a. the B.B.C.? Once again, a completely unjustified statement by some 4th rate politico/journalist has been reported, without any verification of the evidence yet a conspiracy theory has mushroomed.

No doubt we are going to be subject by the BBC to more weeks of this “bugging story” drivel, all paid for by the license payer. Is it not about time that we got rid of this method of funding the BBC – it is effectively no more than a regressive tax . If people want to watch & listen to this cheap politically correct propaganda, then let them pay for it on a pay as you go basis. The technology is readily available.

But back to Short. There used to be in Britain a crime called High Treason; the penalty for this offence being death by hanging. However, I do see difficulties in hanging cockroaches like Short, so has anyone any suggestions has to how we deal with this vermin?

Ever considered that the reports may be the truth? don't you think the British Public have a right to know or would you rather pretend it couldn't possibly happen?
Haven't much time for Claire Short since she didn't take the honourable way out at the time as Robin Cook did over the war in Iraq. But that doesn't mean she isn't speaking the truth on this occasion.

Nessie - if Clare Short is telling the truth, then I'm a goldfish.

Do you really think such things as bugging phones doesn't go on? Claire Short may have many faults, but she is intellegent and would know that if she wasn't telling the truth she would be found out.
Have a spare goldfish bowl you can use just in case.

Re: Clare Short - a Cockroach not a bug

Short read a transcript of a conversation between Annan & someone else.....from that she deduced that the British Intelligence Services were bugging his office.

1) Thats what they're paid to do

2) Even if they're paid to do it, it does'nt neccessarily mean they did it. Every other country does the same and the transcript could have been from another scource.

3) She did'nt say what was in the transcript - it could have been anything.

4) Clare Short is not intelligent. She is no more than a loud mouth Brummie thicko, incapable of most jobs (as shown recently in her pathetic attempt to do a bit of teaching) & she is only in parliament because of her family connections, just like that other family of left-wing loonatics, the Wedgewood-Benns.
