Clayton Con Club Fire

Last night some idiotic loony set fire to the upstairs kitchen of Clayton Con Club whilst the downstairs was full of people. The place was thankfully evacuated without any body being injured.
The water damage is apparently very extensive downstairs and it will be quite some time before the club opens again.

Not that I know but there was a known someone seen lurking in the vicinity a couple of times but of course that would be pure conjecture!!

You should be ok vicky, 'erindoors works there and through communication with the Stewardess we have discovered that they are hoping to re-open by next weekend!!

The upstairs kitchen is completely gutted and the rest of the upstairs is smoke damaged. The water damage was mainly confined to the bar end of downstairs. Until tomorrow there is no water or electric.
Really very lucky that it wasn't more serious although that doesn't detract from the fact that it must be one deranged person who sets fire to a building with people in it

Is it definitely an arson attack or could it have been an electrical fault or something in the kitchen? Glad no-one was hurt and hope it won't be too long before they are able to re-open.
