Cockers lodges ossy

Does anyone know who owns these lodges and footpaths, this used to be a beautiful walk, but now its full of water filled holes created by inconsiderate horse users, im just wondering if its owned by the council, because something needs to be done about all the damage these horses are doing

Correct and it needs stopping, there has been a lot of money spent around the lodges, im not sure who by, accy council or Lancashire county council maybe, but as it stands now it just wasted money, the horse riders have turned it into a bomb site, they seem to be above the law, if it was teenagers causing all the damage there would be uproar, to take a walk round the lodges now your ankle deep in mud and mire its a crying shame, im going to have a word with Britcliffe see if he can do anything about the horses, but im not holding my breath

Re: Cockers lodges ossy

If you want to know if Hyndburn Council own the land you can email them and ask using [email protected] others have done that on here and had replies fairly quickly. Emails get passed onto the correct department and you will get an answer from an officer who could answer your questions about work done and you can report damage if it is HBC land

The email is from the Council contact us page here http://www.hyndburnbc.gov.uk/site/scripts/contact.php
