I lived a couple of doors away when that happened, Don't recall you being at home...but everyone else there thought it was a bomb, the noise was unbelievable.

Was actually gonna post about it till I realised it was the same event!

Fortunately I was out at the time,may come as a shock but I was at a party,
Police had it boarded up for me.
Abbey, who I was insured with insisted that a banger could not cause that amount of damage.

Changed their minds when I produced the police and Observer reports and paid up.

Yep, New Years Eve if I remember correctly, or there abouts. Early hours of the morning.
One of my older sons thought you were in there and ran inside to see if you were hurt. Proud of him at the time. But seeing as nobody realised exactly what had happened....was a bit of a dodgy thing to do! Funny paper never mentioned that bit...
